At Aquaventure Waterpark, even the smallest members of the party are catered for thanks to Splasher’s Children’s Play Area. Here there are plenty of open and closed waterslides that are big enough for parents to ride with small children on their laps, as well as climbing frames, hanging bridges and water cannons to play with. The Lost Chambers Aquarium

Home to 65,000 marine animals, wildlife enthusiasts and lovers of the deep will be in their element at The Lost Chambers Aquarium. Various tours and experiences are available, catering to all holiday makers looking for a unique experience to treasure forever.
 
21 exhibitions are split between 10 themed rooms with educational touch screens throughout offering information and marine trivia on a variety of species. Guided tours are available to be pre-booked and with the accompaniment of your very own marine educator, you’re bound to pick up some fishy facts along the way. Home to manta rays, tropical fish and jelly fish, nature enthusiast will hit the jackpot here.
 
The Fish Tales Tour includes a trip to the fish hospital, where you can learn about the aquarium’s breeding programmes and how the staff take care of the 65,000 marine residents. You’ll then be led to the top of Ambassador Lagoon where you can enjoy some of the best views of the aquarium.
 
From the top right down to the bottom, the Aquatrek experience will have you roaming the aquarium floor and making friends with the jellyfish. Don your helmet and get to grips with the wildlife of the deep… trust us, you won’t regret it.
 
Families, there’s a fabulous opportunity for you too. The Ultimate Snorkel lets those over the age of six explore the lost city of Atlantis. Taking place in the Ambassador’s Lagoon the experience lasts for 30-minutes and will see you snorkelling amongst the likes of manta rays and sharks.

Dolphin Bay

It’s not every day that you’re able to swim with a pod of bottlenose and that’s exactly what you’re able to do at Dolphin Bay. From toddlers to pensioners this choice is well-suited to all, with multiple packages and tours on offer to cater to different swimming abilities.
 
The most popular experience is the Dolphin Encounter which is a 30-minute meet and greet in shallow water, perfect for all. Limited to groups of 10 or less, with this choice you’ll get to kiss, hug and dance with the dolphins. However, for a slightly more interactive experience, why not opt for the Dolphin Adventure package which is equally as thrilling, giving you the chance to have a belly ride in the centre of the lagoon too.
 
Want double the trouble? The Royal Swim will see you have a whale of a time as you take to the waters with not one but two dolphins. Grab onto their fins as it’s going to be an unforgettable time. Please note however that for this interaction, guests must be confident swimmers and be able to tread water, as you jet along while riding a boogie board. Atlantis Explorers Club

Comprising a play zone and a command centre, the Atlantis Explorers Club is ideal for little ones. Aiming to inspire and bring their imagination to life, those aged between three and 12 years old are guaranteed plenty of fun from the get go. 
 
Arts and crafts, painting, origami and cookie decorating are just some of what’s on offer with different activities taking place daily. There’s also the chance for little ones to create their own Atlantis Pal, a customisable stuffed animal that is the perfect souvenir to remember their trip.
 
That’s not all though. Themed evenings occur often such as Arabian nights or Willy Wonka Wednesday and there’s also the chance to watch movies in the Underwater Theatre near Ambassador’s Lagoon. Little Pirates Playground is fantastic for younger children who fancy themselves as a swashbuckler. Running around a pirate ship, climbing ropes and jetting down the slide is certain to burn off some of that holiday energy.

Whether you fancy fish and chips, beef wellington or a good ol’ fashion roast, all of this and so much more is available. Comprising a lavish bar, spacious dining area and expansive outdoor terrace, you’re sure to get lost in conversation as you’re surrounded by contemporary glamour left, right and centre.
 
Serving lunch and dinner this choice is perfect once you’ve finished at Aquaventure or exploring the sights of Dubai. If the tykes get restless the restaurant goes even further by taking them to The Lost Chambers Aquarium, so you can spend some alone time with your other half. Plus, a family brunch is on the cards on Fridays adding even more Dubai magic to your holiday. Things will start off with a sharing platter, before chef-recommended main courses are presented for you to choose from. NOBU Japanese Restaurant

Inspired by the flavours of Japan and its authentic views on cooking, NOBU has been pleasing guest’s palates worldwide since it first opened in Beverly Hills, California in 1987. Nowadays it has more than 30 locations and founder Nobu Matsuhisha has become something of a culinary legend.
 
With lobster quinoa ceviche and premium black cod just two of the most popular options, five-star cuisine is top of the menu here. No doubt you have your favourites, thanks to there being two locations in London, but why not try something different when on holiday? The venue itself will send your senses into a spin. You’ll be smelling the aromatic flavours of multiple dishes being carried to tables, the sound of laughter from guests having a catch up on the other side of the restaurant, and the visions of Dubai elegance at its finest courtesy of the ornate cave-like structure that makes up the main dining area.
 
The restaurant also boasts a sushi bar which really adds a bit of drama to proceedings as your dish is freshly made before your eyes. For post-dinner drinks you can forget the cocktails, although these are available, and tuck into some authentic sake at the bar. A resident DJ can also be found playing some of the hottest tunes this side of the Middle East.
 
On Fridays brunch can also be booked here too, which has an array of seafood, beef and vegetarian dishes to choose from. Serving from noon until 3pm there are live cooking stations making some of the acclaimed cuisine, as well as signature desserts too. You can either choose to have your brunch with or without alcohol, with a bottle of bubbly being the perfect touch if you’re celebrating.

Grand Atlantis Suite

Elegance meets Dubai’s glitz and glam when staying in the Grand Atlantis Suite. With elaborate statues in the hallway and an expansive terrace that covers three sides of the suite to enjoy the Middle Eastern sun on, luxury is redefined here.
 
A true sanctuary awaits all who choose to reside in this suite, with attention to detail being the hotel’s forte. For a truly one-of-a-kind experience the Underwater Suites are nothing short of spectacular. The suites are named after Greek Gods with the choice of staying in either Poseidon or Neptune. Both offer the same benefits, jaw dropping décor and enough room for up to five guests.

Unique in every sense of the word instead of art work adorning the walls, here you have feature aquariums. The floor-to-ceiling windows that look out directly to Ambassador’s Lagoon can be found in the bathroom, lounge and bedroom and are sure to take your breath away. You’ll literally be sleeping with the fishes as manta rays, sharks and any other of the 65,000-exotic marine life pop by to say hello, swimming around the ruins of the mythical lost city.
 
The suites are stretched out over three floors that are accessible via an in-suite elevator or a lavish, sweeping staircase. Bathrooms are equally as extravagant with marble tubs and walk-in showers. The suites are spacious and grand, however there are interconnecting rooms available catering to families and larger groups.
