Ultra Luxury Las Vegas Holidays

Bright lights, dancing fountains and a strip of luxurious hotels – there’s no mistaking the vibrant city of Las Vegas. Here, it’s all about having a great time. No agendas, no rules, instead it’s a 24-hour city where the fun never stops.

Whittle away the hours of your luxury Las Vegas holiday in one of the many world-class casinos. Strike it lucky with live action table games, call someone’s bluff in the poker room or pull the lever on the slot machines to win big. With denominations starting from as little as one cent, there’s certainly a game of play to suit all visitors.

Rather steer clear of the vibrant casino floor? No problem, how about five-star dining? Attracting some of the world’s most celebrated celebrity chefs, from Gordon Ramsey to Wolfgang Puck and some of the largest restaurant chains including Nobu, STK and Carbone, whatever you’re in the mood for, you’re sure to find it here. Seafood, steak, Asian specialties, Japanese cuisine or just a good ‘ol fashioned burger – Las Vegas really does have it all.

The desert city is a treat for the senses. Boasting hotels of all shapes, sizes and themes, you can experience some of the greatest sites of the world in one whirlwind tour. From climbing to the top of the Eiffel Tower and taking a gondola ride through Venice, to soaking up the vistas of the New York skyline, Egyptian pyramids and Roman palaces, Las Vegas is your ticket to see the world in an electric setting.

But don’t think that the city of lights is solely for stag and hen parties. Pool parties aside, families are well catered for too. Where else could children see world-class magicians, experience the mesmerising dancing fountains, visit Coney Island, enjoy the circus and check out a vast aquarium that houses more than 2,000 marine life?

Sin City is so much more than the infamous strip. Take a day trip away from the bustling city and head to the Grand Canyon National Park or the awe-inspiring Hoover Dam. By coach, helicopter or even horseback with the cowboys, there’s so much to see… just make sure to pack your camera.

Winged Boots Wisdom
Calling all adrenaline junkies. To really get your heart pumping, visit The Stratosphere for a host of daring rides from the top of the famous tower.

Away from
The Strip

Try to carve time into your schedule to visit the Grand Canyon and Hoover Dam. We recommend a helicopter tour that includes a champagne brunch in the canyon and finishes with a flight over the strip.

Las Vegas in a nutshell

After Dark Destinations

Not strictly after dark, but we just couldn’t write a Las Vegas overview without mentioning its pool party and day club culture. If you only visit one, make sure it’s Wet Republic at MGM Grand. Expect a bustling day club, multiple pools, top DJs and a selection of cabanas, daybeds and lounges. Sunnies and wedges essential.

Las Vegas offers a menu of exciting shows. From Frank Sinatra and Elvis tribute acts to acrobatic water shows which have to be seen to be believed. Expect out-of-this-world performances from some of the biggest artists in the world such as Adele, Usher, Britney Spears and Celine Dion. Vegas is also home to the globe’s greatest magicians including Penn and Teller, Chris Angel and David Copperfield.

Tastes To Try

Got a sweet tooth? Head to Carlo’s Bakery in The Venetian for a selection of cakes and pastries from the Cake Boss, Buddy Valastro. Alternatively, head to The Forum Shops in Caesars Palace and dine at The Cheesecake Factory. If you’re a chocoholic, Linda’s Fudge Cake is a must!

For an unforgettable dining experience, visit Heart Attack Grill in Fremont Street, Downtown. Don your hospital gown and indulge in a high-calorie meal of burgers and hot dogs while the nurses cater to your every whim. Serving wine in IV drips, a restaurant like this could only thrive in Las Vegas. It’s worth noting this is a cash-only establishment.

However, our favourite dining spot is The Mayfair Supper Club in Bellagio. The perfect way to mark a milestone, enjoy dinner and a show. Acrobats, dancers and singers will entertain on the stage, while outside you have an unrivaled view of the dancing fountains. Just be sur to save room for dessert. They're huge, but oh-so-delicious.

Family Fun Guaranteed

You can entertain children without spending a penny by wandering up and down the Las Vegas strip, marvelling at all the hotel attractions on offer. From the dancing fountains of The Bellagio to the pirate show outside Treasure Island, nightly performances are sure to thrill adults and kids alike. Alternatively, for a light spectacle, visit Fremont Street in Downtown for the Viva Vision Light Show.

For good ol’ fashioned fun, head to New York New York and enjoy all the fun of the fair. A replica of Coney Island, the crème de resistance has to be the Big Apple Rollercoaster which scales the outside of the hotel.

Thrills and spills are top of the menu at Circus Circus Adventuredome. Five acres of indoor fun is just waiting to be had. From bumper cars and a Batman laser assault course to miniature golf and rock climbing, what will your little one choose first?

frequently asked questions

Las Vegas is a year-round destination. In the summer, it is hot, so just bear that in mind if travelling with children or anyone who doesn’t like the heat. The pools are closed from October through to March and the weather is cooler. This means the city is a little less crowded, and some pool events are closed. It is also worth noting that even though you’re in the desert, you’ll need a jacket during the winter, especially in the evenings.
The Grand Prix returned to Las Vegas, after it’s flirt at Caesars Palace in the 80s, in 2023. It is one of the final races in the Formula 1 calendar, usually scheduled for November. During this time, the strip is taken over by the track and the city is busy with visitors. Room rates with a strip (track) view increase, but it is – in our opinion – one of the most spectacular experiences you can have in Las Vegas.
All hotels on the strip are great options for hens and stags. All offer large room types for groups, or due to the size of the resorts, have plenty of guestrooms to sleep two to four. The majority of luxury hotels boast pools and parties, plus plenty of bars and nightclubs. You can access the facilities at all resorts, even as a non-guest, but for a central base in the centre of the strip we recommend The Cosmopolitan.
