Peru in a Nutshell

Soak Up The Culture
  • Visit the famous Lake Titicaca which straddles the border of Peru and Bolivia. Learn about the local way of life here by immersing yourself in the Quechua and Aymara communities, as well as exploring the unique, floating Uros Islands.

  • Take flight in a helicopter to see the unexplained Nazca Lines. This UNESCO World Heritage Site depicts enormous geoglyphs of animals, plants and shapes, best seen via birds-eye view.

Adventure Awaits
  • This is the moment you’ve been waiting for. Conquer Machu Picchu in the Andes Mountains for an unforgettable experience and an Instagram opportunity that will have the likes rolling in. It’s quite a climb so don’t forget to bring water and set off as early as possible to avoid hiking in the afternoon sun.

  • Trek to the summit of Rainbow Mountain, aptly named for its striped mineral deposits. Located a few hours away from Cusco, this is an all-day venture that is worth every bead of sweat and sore feet. The colourful mountain views are truly unbeatable.
Tastes To Try
  • Visit Matria in Lima for casual Peruvian cuisine that has been elevated to the next level. Chef Arlette learnt her craft from her grandmothers who were from Italy and Bolivia. Matria - or Mother Earth symbolises the locally sourced produce that chef uses in every dish.

  • Don’t even think about visiting Peru without a taste of the local cuisine. Nanka specialises in Peruvian and Latin American dishes that are served to the highest standard in an elegant setting that can’t be compared. Nanka is ideal if you want to try something new without breaking the holiday budget and, of course, satisfying your stomach!
