Sunglasses and sunscreen will be your best friend in Brazil. Temperatures in the summer months can reach the high thirties, ideal for catching a tan but it’s essential that you stay cool and hydrated during your visit. Bottled water is the way to go in Brazil as drinking from the tap can leave you feeling ill.

Costa Rica boasts a year-round summer with high temperatures from January to December. But, beware of the frequent downpours. Even in the dry season between December and April, the central highland areas are prone to rain during the day so make sure you pack a raincoat and a waterproof bag for your valuables.
