WINGED BOOTS THE EXTRA MILE DINNER CLUB PRESENTS: A THAI FEAST
The faint smell of lemongrass fused with the aromatic spices of a Thai green curry; the gentle hum of 60 people enjoying each other’s conversation and the sight of an entire restaurant packed with Winged Boots customers and staff… it’s safe to say that Winged Boots: The Extra Mile Dinner Club in association with The Tourism Authority of Thailand was a great success.
Hosted at Nipa Thai restaurant in The Royal Lancaster Hotel, London on Thursday 25th April, our first large-scale private dining event saw 45 Winged Boots customers enjoy a Thai feast amongst the Winged Boots team and representatives from the Thailand tourism board.

The food and setting were faultless – it was a great venue to meet lots of our customers face-to-face and I hope everyone had as good a time as myself and the rest of the Winged Boots team did.”
The evening began with a drinks reception in the hotel’s Lounge Bar, before guests took their seats inside Nipa Thai for a feasting menu of authentic Thai cuisine cooked by an all-female, all-Thai kitchen. Led by Head Chef Sanguan Parr who has been at the restaurant for more than 20 years, every dish was packed with flavour and cooked traditionally with the recipes passed through her family’s generation.
The starters included a selection of Thai delights and a spicy lemongrass, chilli and lime broth with prawns, mushroom and coriander. Mains included a delicious Phad Thai, stir-fried prawns, a tasty green coconut curry with chicken and fried seabass in an oyster sauce. Each course was meticulously paired with a glass of wine and the evening concluded with a selection of fresh fruit and coconut ice cream for dessert.
