When to visit Ras Al Khaimah for the best weather?

  • Published 26 April 2021

Ras Al Khaimah is located in the UAE, neighbour to Dubai and Abu Dhabi. This lesser-known emirate is described as having an extreme desert climate, with hot temperatures, high humidity and very little rainfall throughout the year. While temperatures are consistently high all-year round, they soar in the summer months up to 43°C, which is much too hot for many travellers who are visiting the region. Therefore, the best time to travel to Ras Al Khaimah is outside of the sweltering summer months. Those that enjoy very hot temperatures should consider holidaying in either the spring or autumn seasons. While those who would rather enjoy moderate temperatures throughout their stay should opt to holiday in Ras Al Khaimah in the winter months. From November to February the temperatures reach the mid-twenties most days which is a perfect climate to explore Ras Al Khaimah and everything it has to offer.

Note: Experience tells us that January and February are the most popular months for tourists to visit this region. Because of this, hotel rates and flight prices tend to rise during this period, so we would recommend booking in advance to secure your flights and to take advantage of early-bird hotel offers.
