        Comprising traditional Arabian décor, intricate lattice woodwork and a cooling mud-brick structure. Amenities include a furnished outdoor terrace, private pool and open desert views. The bathroom features an oversized soaking tub and separate shower.

        Al Khaimah Tented Pool Villa

        An authentic tented villa that boasts a private swimming pool, sun lounger and sunbed… it’s heaven wrapped up in wood and fabric. Spacious is an understatement. This tent is definitely a world away from the two-man pop up you take to Glastonbury.

        Inspired by authentic farm cuisine, you can expect a variety of meats and fresh seasonal flavours from home grown vegetables and locally-sourced produce. The setting emulates a farmhouse, with gorgeous beams adorned with chandeliers.

        This seasonal outdoor restaurant utilises the desert landscape with comfortable Arabic seating and hundreds of lanterns. The stars are your lights, and the food is a selection of mezze, salads and speciality dishes including beef, lamb and fish. Closed during summer.

        The equestrian centre offer horse riding lessons for all ages, with little ponies for smaller guests. Pony grooming adventures for children are also popular, where kids can interact with the horses, learn to groom them and enjoy an introductory ride.

        The Ritz-Carlton is situated in the middle of a 500-hectare nature reserve. If you’re after waterparks and extensive shopping malls then we’re afraid you’re out of luck, however if watching wild oryx roam free is your idea of bliss, then you’re in the right spot. Just a 50-minute drive from Dubai’s main hubbub and a 30-minute drive from Ras Al Khaimah, it’s ideal for a twin centre beach meets desert holiday.
