It doesn’t get much plusher than a Mandarin Oriental hotel – and in Dubai too, a destination that oozes extravagance. So, you can already imagine how glorious this five-star luxury hotel is with its spacious accommodation, facing either the fascinating city or the sparkling Arabian Gulf waters.

A stay at The Mandarin Oriental Jumeira Dubai for three-nights starts from £1,340 per person. A five-night stay starts from £1,900 per person, or you can have seven-nights in this spectacular city from £2,460 per person - each including flights and based on two people sharing. Let us give you an insight into what you will get for that price with a bit more information about this fabulous hotel.

The Mandarin Oriental Dubai style & character

Opening its doors to the world in February 2019, the Mandarin Oriental Jumeira Dubai, although fairly new on the scene, has made quite a name for itself as one of the most stylish and luxurious hotels on the illustrious Arabian Gulf. Guests are greeted by cool marble floors, crisp water features, floor-to-ceiling glass windows and beautifully lit tree sculptures in the lobby, and throughout the hotel continues a chic, urban style with bright, light spaces in the restaurants, rooms and public areas.

Each of the 148 rooms and suites is contemporary in design with predominantly neutral tones and a pop of bright turquoise in the soft furnishings – a gentle nod to the aquamarine waters a stone’s throw away – either overlooking the beach and out to the Gulf or across the twinkling cityscape, which comes alive as dusk hits.

Dubai has fast become a go-to destination for foodies, and the Mandarin Oriental Jumeira Dubai does not disappoint, offering world-class fine dining options as well as excellent, casual spots for drinks, cake and caviar.

Four fine dining restaurants here include stunning modern Portuguese fare at Tasca by José Avillez, and Sublimotion, a unique tasting journey where just 12 diners experience a true feast for all the senses through artistic cookery and high-tech innovation. Netsu by Ross Shonhan is the hotel’s excellent Japanese steakhouse, exhibiting traditional Japanese methods using straw fire cookery and offering delectable sushi, sashimi and grilled platters. Beluga is the final fine dining establishment and Dubai’s only dedicated caviar restaurant serving delicious caviar each evening in an elegant setting.

A Mandarin Oriental Dubai booking isn’t complete without a treatment or two, or three, at the wonderful hotel spa. Taking inspiration from its Oriental heritage as well as the cultural diversity of the Middle East, the Spa offers a wonderful array of treatments and services including exotic massages, hammam-style rituals, scrubs, facials and a range of excellent wellness programmes. In true Mandarin Oriental style, the hotel features a rich and varied programme of incredible experiences for guests, utilising its proximity to Jumeirah beach as well as the bright lights of Downtown Dubai. Away from the hotel there are a wealth of activities to choose from that will appeal to thrill-seekers, avid shoppers, or those wanting to absorb some local culture. Book a hot air balloon ride, helicopter sightseeing tour, skydiving experience, a high-end shopping trip to Bloomingdales or even a private guided tour of Old Dubai.
