WHAT IS FAN ID?

FAN ID is a document that all spectators of 2018 FIFA World Cup need to secure entry into Russia and access to the stadiums. It provides a comfortable, safe and visa-free entry into Russia as well as transit through Republic of Belarus and also offers free use of public transport on match days.

FAN ID comes in two forms. A printed document (in laminated form) or an electronic document. Stadium access requires FAN ID in a laminated form alongside a match ticket whereas country access requires a FAN ID in either a laminated form or electronic copy alongside a valid passport.

Please note: FAN ID can only be allocated to those with a valid passport.

HOW DO I OBTAIN FAN ID?

Once you have purchased a ticket you need to register on the official FAN ID website and file your application. Your application will then be approved and notifications of the status of your application will be sent via SMS and email. Once approved you will be sent a receipt and electronic copy of your FAN ID which will allow you entry into Russia. You can then swap this electronic copy for a laminated printed document at any FAN ID Distribution Centre – remember to take along your passport in order to collect this. DME Airport has a FAN ID collection point within the airport, and there are numerous other Distribution Centres across central Moscow.
