The 2022 football World Cup is fast approaching. Dubai is an hour and 15 minutes from Qatar so many airlines are putting on shuttle flights, which makes it an ideal base for match ticket holders.

On top of that, Dubai’s status as an official FIFA partner guarantees it’s the next best place to be even if you don’t have tickets to the games. The city is pulling out all the stops for nearly three weeks of fan festivals and watch parties to remember.

So, whether you need a base from which to fly to Doha or you’re keen to get as close as you can to the football action, Dubai has got you covered. Here are the best places to stay in Dubai for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

Oh, and don’t forget to check out our guide to our favourite Dubai FIFA fan zones too!

It will have its own outdoor tent with big screens to watch the games, so you don’t need to go far to get in on the action. Plus, it will be offering a selection of food and drink to cheer on your favourite team with.

Dubai Marina and Sheikh Zayed Road are close by where you’ll find a number of venues such as Barasti and the Trophy Room where you can also watch the matches.

The family-friendly hotel is located on the lively Jumeirah Beach and offers sun-drenched relaxation if you want to take a break from the football fun.

Alternatively, for a more exclusive experience, head up to the hotel rooftop and bask in one of the world’s tallest infinity pools.
