Winged Boots x Maddox Gallery Shoot Day 2022

“The event was a huge success,” said David Ox, Winged Boots’ managing director. “Thank you again to Maddox for partnering with us. This event was originally pencilled in for 2020. It may have been two years later than planned but the day went without a hitch and we’re extremely thankful for everyone who attended and all those behind the scenes who made the day possible.

“It was great to see some Winged Boots clients who, due to the pandemic, we hadn’t been able to meet face to face at an The Extra Mile event in quite a long time. Plus, we met 50 Maddox customers who were extremely welcoming and fantastic to spend the day with.”

Founded in 2015, Maddox has quickly established itself as an international powerhouse within the world of contemporary and modern art. Haven House Children’s Hospice

We’re proud to have supported Haven House Children’s Hospice with this event and to have raised a fantastic £13,000.

Haven House Children’s Hospice cares for seriously ill babies and children, up to the age of 18, by creating a loving and warm environment for them and their families while they go through the toughest of times. The hospice is a lifeline for the entire family.

Haven House provides round the clock care in their hospice that’s based in Woodford, as well as through their outreach services in the home and local community. The hospice provides; day care, over-night stays, end of life care, bereavement support, as well as life enriching activities such as sensory play, music therapy and physiotherapy. 

Haven House needs to raise £4.8m this year to fund its caring services and is reliant on fundraising activities to generate almost 70% of its income. Every penny raised today will go directly to the hospice and we hope that you can help us to make a huge difference to the care that Haven House provides to children and families. Your support could help Haven House to provide the following:
£100 could fund 3 days of Therapeutic Yoga
£350 could fund 2 days of Play Activities
£500 could fund 3 days of Music Therapy
£1,000 could pay for 8 hours of in-house care
£1,500 could fund 1 month of Bereavement Support

Finally, we’d like to give a huge congratulations to the winners of the day.
Top Gun went to Alexander Robertson-Enness.
Top Lady Gun was awarded to Katharine Evans.

Edinburgh Shooting Society that included Ewan Thayan, Sam Thompson, Harry Chamberlain and Will Shelley scooped Top Team.

While Brokeback Mountain took home The Glorious Twelfth Team, and included Sam Alnakash, Guilherme Maximino, Matthew Gant and Jess Barker.

Commiserations to The One&Only Atlanteans who collected the cuddly ducks. Craig Jeffs, Sue Greenhalgh, Edward Westlake and Debra Algie… let’s get a date in the diary for a practise session in time for next year.
