If you’re seeking ultimate luxury, a first-of-its-kind two-level residence that lets you sleep deep beneath the waves is sure to set the scene. Part of the Hilton’s Conrad Maldives Rangali Island resort, The Muraka is one of the most exceptional places to stay in the world, thanks to its glistening setting on a private island in the heart of the Indian Ocean.

For a seven-night stay, you can expect The Muraka Conrad Maldives prices to sit around £33,899 per person, including breakfast daily. Not only will you be surrounded by stunning décor, have total seclusion, and private 24-hour butler service - but you can spend seven dreamy nights submerged 16 feet below the surf, watching the exotic marine life as they pass you by.

A place where peace and tranquility meet sheer opulence, here’s what else you can expect when you stay at The Muraka.

The Muraka at Conrad Maldives style & character

So, what makes the Muraka Conrad Maldives the ultimate in luxury? Everything, really. This is a little jewel in an already twinkling crown. The Conrad Hotel Maldives Rangali island is made up of two separate islands offering a choice of beautifully appointed contemporary Water Villas and Beach Villas. The islands are joined together with an enchanting wooden footbridge, so guests can easily explore.

Part of the lush South Ari atoll, the islands offer pure white sands, palm trees, breath-taking sunsets, and wonderful weather. You’ve got the best of both worlds here, since Rangali Island is adults only and Rangali-Finolhu Island is family-friendly and offers every imaginable facility. Fun is on the menu for everyone, whether you’d like to do nothing but soak up the sun on your private deck or explore the fantastic water sports and tours available. From tranquil to adrenaline-busting, it’s your choice.

However, the holy grail is without doubt the The Muraka’s unique underwater master bedroom. Float down the spiral staircase and you’ll enter an architectural masterpiece. This private underwater room resembles an aquarium, with panoramic views of the colourful marine life courtesy of a 180-degree curved acrylic dome. Complete with a large central bed, floor-to-ceiling windows in the bathroom (well, you won’t need much privacy down there), plus a luxury walk-in closet – your luxury Maldives holidays don’t get much better than this.
