Set in Tanzania’s northern Serengeti, the Wogakuria Hills sit close to the Mara River, right on the border with Kenya’s Maasai Mara. Wildlife is present year-round, with the greatest movement from July to October as migrating herds pass through the area. The landscape is shaped by granite kopjes, rocky outcrops that lift the lodge and its suites above the plains, opening up wide views across grassland and watercourses. Guests arrive by light aircraft into Kogatende Airstrip, followed by a scenic game-viewing drive of around 45 minutes to the lodge.
