        Located in the city of Beaune in the very heart of Burgundy, Chez Les Fatien is ideally placed to explore this iconic and vibrant region. Beaune itself is best explored on foot, and the world-famous fifteenth century Hôtel-Dieu and the gorgeous basilica are both reachable within a 10-minute walk. The region surrounding the city is one of the most iconic wine-producing areas in the world, and the centuries-old tradition of growing grapes in ‘climats’ found all over has led to their inscription as a UNESCO World Heritage Site – they’re the ideal setting for a day of cycling or walking accompanied by a hearty picnic. Further afield, the gorgeous historic sites of Dijon, Autun, Vézelay and Cluny are all reachable within an hour’s drive, and the picturesque Morvan National park is right on your doorstep – perfect for a relaxing day enjoying the gorgeous countryside surrounded by nature.
