Our Week-Long Ski Experience Through Andermatt

With 120-kilometres of pistes to entertain every member of the party, whether you’ve gone skiing before or are a total newbie, Andermatt is a top choice for a Swiss ski escape, and to make the most of your trip we highly recommend a seven-day ski pass.
 
A plethora of slopes can be found here, challenging even the most seasoned pro or breaking in beginners, as well as hiking trails and toboggan runs too. Snowtubing, an avalanche training centre and lessons at various snow sport schools are all available at an additional cost so we expect you’ll be channelling your inner Eddie the Eagle before you know it.
 
If you fancy a day off skiing, why not take a hike and have a little exploration? For brilliant views, make sure to take the cable car and head up to the mountain of Gemsstock, which is also a ski-slope if you fancy a little challenge. Standing 2,961-metres above sea level, you’ll be able to look over Andermatt in all its glory, a true sight to behold.
 
Children are not left out of the picture either thanks to MATTI KidsArena. Let the little ones loose as they take advantage of the snow play area, complete with an adventure piste, before heading to Matti Family Restaurant when feeling peckish. Alternatively, authentic Scandinavian barbecue kotas are also available to rent and use at the resort, perfect if you’re part of a large group or celebrating something special.
