Have safari adventures at Royal Malewane Safari Camp

With 130 mammal species and more than 300 types of bird to admire, an adventure at Royal Malewane Safari Camp is certain to tick the boxes for all animal lovers.
The Big Five are easily the star of the show, with lions, leopards, buffalo, elephants and black rhinos all found at this award-winning site. Add in to the mix knowledgeable rangers telling you magnificent stories and watch the holiday memories simply make themselves.

Arise nice and early at 5am before heading out with your ranger on a morning game drive. Once you’ve had a little exploration, you’ll be taken back for a lodge breakfast with plenty of delicious delicacies to feast on. It’s now time to get back in the swing of things as you embark on a bush walk where you will find yourself amongst birds and insects as well as trees and plants that make the area so beautiful. A break for lunch is next on the agenda at 1pm, with the evening excursion taking hold at 6pm. During that five-hour break we highly recommend a spa treatment, just so you can get yourself ready for whatever the evening ensues.

Dinner is then served at 7.30pm, and with the day you’ve had, the extensive wine list of South Africa’s finest is well and truly needed!

Little ones are not left out of the picture either, with a specialised programme available where they can learn all about the importance of nature conservation. The Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre is also a must, which will see you get even closer and more personal with orphaned and injured animals.
