Explore the deep with a snorkelling trip to Gili Island

Those with an itch to explore will love this snorkelling trip to Gili Island from Lombok in Bali. Fantastic for those wanting to venture through the deep, you’ll be seeing Bali from a whole different perspective… and you’ll meet a plethora of marine life along the way.

Start the day with a wake-up call from your guide at 8am before travelling to Nipah Bay Port. After a private boat transfer to the island of Gili Trawangan, you’ll then have an hour of free time before getting to the main event.

Grab your flippers and goggles as you discover the gorgeous reef garden. Here you’ll find a wealth of tropical fish alongside a giant Japanese shipwreck that dates back to World War II.

You’ll then head to Gili Air Wall for a delicious lunch followed by another round of exploration and feeding the fish. Running parallel to the island, there are plenty of sea fans, sea whips and sponges to get up close and personal with, as well as pygmy seahorses, orangutan crabs and even the odd octopus and sea turtle too. Alternatively, you can sunbathe or wander along the beach if snorkelling has taken it out of you. Once finished you’ll then be taken to Teluk Kodek Harbour courtesy of a private boat transfer where you’ll be picked up via car to your hotel.
