But the pristine golf courses are where this glorious state truly shines. There’s nothing else like teeing off with the heat on your back, the cool breeze around you and views of the most gorgeous scenery that’s almost blinding because it’s so beautiful. Whether you’re a complete beginner or a seasoned pro, Florida has a course for every ability and lush greenery is always guaranteed. So, what are you waiting for? Grab your clubs, your tweed hat and take to the Floridian fairways…

Seminole Golf Course and Club

Said by many to be one of the best golf courses in Florida, Seminole Golf Course and Club certainly has to be seen to be believed. Featuring a challenging 18-hole championship golf course for those who have an inner Tiger Woods, this fantastic Tallahassee venue is brilliant for those who are looking to both up their game and get a little more golfing experience. There are on-site PGA certified staff on hand too, ready and willing to assist golfers of any ability with individual private lessons and even group clinics.

Seminole Golf Club has seen many a famous face and was even the practice course for iconic golfer Ben Hogan who used to train on the gorgeous greens for 30 days every spring to prepare for the Masters. Oh, and did we mention that Seminole is consistently ranked as one of the Top 100 courses in the United States? Although the greens are open to the public, if you’re a regular visitor to Florida we highly recommend copping a membership to receive full benefits of this stunning location including the driving range and the attached country club.
