Jumeirah Al Naseem at Jumeriah Resort

Listen up nature lovers. Working in conjunction with The Wildlife Protection Office, the stunning Jumeirah Al Naseem at Jumeirah Resort helps run the city’s Turtle Rehabilitation Project whose goals are to help rescue, care for, and release endangered species (such as the hawksbill and green turtles) which live on the surrounding shores.

The resort features a unique, state-of-the-art lagoon which uses seawater from the Gulf to house and protect injured animals during their rehabilitation. Attentive staff nurse wounded wildlife back to full health and help provide stranded hatchlings with the best possible start in life. With the main purpose of the project being to increase the sea turtle population, the hotel has worked alongside the organisations to reach that goal, subsequently increasing numbers by more than 30% in the region.

The hotel is also home to renewable energy programmes and energy efficient lighting to help promote sustainability throughout the resort. Each of the restaurants have also swapped single-use plastic straws for multi-use alternatives made from bamboo and metal, to stop harmful waste ending up in the ocean.

Jumeirah Al Naseem at Jumeriah Resort boasts beautiful surroundings and stunning views over the Arabian Gulf, which are all the more enjoyable knowing that the marine life below is thriving. So, by booking a room at this resort, guests will not only be enjoying the beautiful natural surroundings and wildlife sightings but be actively contributing towards the rehabilitation of some of the most precious creatures in the world, too.
