It’ll set you back $100,000 per night, however the Damien Hirst custom-designed, two-storey penthouse suite in Palms Resort & Casino will certainly get more than a few double-taps. With the designer’s famed butterfly motif emblazoned throughout – including in the bedrooms, on the curtains and on the tiles of the private swimming pool – every inch of this suite is designed in the artist’s signature style.
Colourful, unusual and in some instances down-right bizarre, this suite would look out of place anywhere else in the world… however in Vegas, you could say it’s slightly understated. Our favourite part has to be the games room. Think paint-splashed pool table, a transparent foosball table all separated by a wall of ‘diamonds’ and two bull sharks marinating in formaldehyde. Oh, and the taxidermied big-game fish suspended over the bar is another great Instagram addition.

Sugar Factory, Fashion Show Mall
Recently moved from its spot underneath Paris’ Eiffel Tower, Sugar Factory’s new location is outside the Fashion Show Mall, opposite Wynn and Encore… and trust us, it’s the perfect way to end a morning of retail therapy.
Expect a menu of American bites, over-the-top desserts and delectable 36-ounce cocktails filled with candy and a healthy dose of liquid nitrogen – perfect for that ‘gram video. Continuing with The Cosmopolitan, from May through to September the hotel’s Boulevard Pool turns into an outdoor cinema every Monday evening. Showcasing both classic films and the latest blockbusters, here you can escape from the strip and get lost in a cinematic experience from Dirty Dancing through to Black Panther.

Calling all adrenaline junkies, this one’s for you. Atop the spindle of The Stratosphere tower lies three terrifyingly terrific thrill rides, including a detonator-style 160-ft shoot into the sky. Holding the record for the highest rides in America, this collection of teeth-gritting, gravity defying, amusements are sure to stay with you long after you leave the desert city.
Alongside the ‘Big Shot’ mentioned above, The Stratosphere also boasts ‘Insanity’, a giant mechanical arm that holds guests 900-ft above the ground and spins 64-ft over the edge of the tower. However, for the ultimate test of nerve, try X-Scream where you’ll be catapulted off the side of the tower 109-storeys in the air. Of course, there’s a camera waiting to capture every grimace and white-knuckle ride!
