The most Instagrammable places in Las Vegas that we bet you didn't know about

  • Published 08 March 2019

Las Vegas; the adult-focused, bright-light, no-filter desert city that you have to see to truly believe. Whether you’re thinking of visiting for the first time or consider yourself a seasoned pro, we bet you still want a snap or two to fill your Instagram feed… and thankfully we have the inside scoop on the very best locations to share on your ‘gram.
But forget the typical Bellagio fountains shot, and the so-last-year ‘Welcome to Las Vegas’ sign, yawn! Instead, we’ve pinpointed eight unusual Insta-worthy spots that you simply have to discover on your next visit.

Sprinkles Cupcake ATM, The LINQ Promenade

Yes, you’ve read that correctly. There’s a real-life 24-hour vending machine that delivers a wealth of delicious cupcakes and cookies at the swipe of a card. Genius, right? Conveniently located on The LINQ Promenade, slap bang in the middle of the strip near the High Roller observation wheel, all your sweet-toothed fantasies are available at anytime… 365 days a year!

The ATM itself is a delicious pink, ideal for photographs, while the cupcakes are delivered through a serving hatch in a brown carboard box. Simple to use, a novelty for sure, we highly recommend a visit during your next Las Vegas stay.

Everyone wants a snap with the iconic Las Vegas ‘strip’, but the reality is a little trickier than expected. In short, Las Vegas is BUSY! And let’s face it, who wants a lady wearing a neon visor, cat T-shirt and fanny pack in the background of their profile pic? Certainly not us.

Instead, head to Drai’s Beachclub atop The Cromwell Hotel for a pool party you’ll never forget and one that’s worthy of being documented on your ‘gram. Specialising in old school Hip Hop and the very latest RnB hits, if you’re more Dr Dre than Avicii then this is the Vegas pool scene for you!

Our expertise, worldwide connections, and the way we do things with a relentless drive means whatever your travels needs are, we can make it happen for you whenever, however, wherever and every time.

Damien Hirst’s Suite, Palms Resort & Casino

It’ll set you back $100,000 per night, however the Damien Hirst custom-designed, two-storey penthouse suite in Palms Resort & Casino will certainly get more than a few double-taps. With the designer’s famed butterfly motif emblazoned throughout – including in the bedrooms, on the curtains and on the tiles of the private swimming pool – every inch of this suite is designed in the artist’s signature style.

Colourful, unusual and in some instances down-right bizarre, this suite would look out of place anywhere else in the world… however in Vegas, you could say it’s slightly understated. Our favourite part has to be the games room. Think paint-splashed pool table, a transparent foosball table all separated by a wall of ‘diamonds’ and two bull sharks marinating in formaldehyde. Oh, and the taxidermied big-game fish suspended over the bar is another great Instagram addition.

Sugar Factory, Fashion Show Mall

Recently moved from its spot underneath Paris’ Eiffel Tower, Sugar Factory’s new location is outside the Fashion Show Mall, opposite Wynn and Encore… and trust us, it’s the perfect way to end a morning of retail therapy.

Expect a menu of American bites, over-the-top desserts and delectable 36-ounce cocktails filled with candy and a healthy dose of liquid nitrogen – perfect for that ‘gram video. A firm favourite with celebs including The Kardashians, Britney Spears, Drake, and Nicole Scherzinger, the lower level’s walls are decked in famous faces enjoying the chain’s tantalising menu.

The upper level is host to The Chocolate Lounge that boasts wraparound views of the Las Vegas strip and a menu of cocoa-themed treats from chocolate martinis to desert-themed pizza… Too sweet for you? If you’d prefer a glass of vino, there’s also a chocolate wine pairing menu.

Breakfast, brunch, early-evening snack or late-night naughty… Eggslut will fulfil all your yoke-fueled desires. A gourmet fast-food concept that puts eggs centre stage, this grab and go counter in The Cosmopolitan always has a queue but don’t let that put you off.

With Alice In Wonderland themed seating, Eggslut is perfect for an impromptu photoshoot. Think Tracey Emin-esque neon signs, tables with bunny ears and playing card motifs… what more do you need?

Dive In Movies, The Cosmopolitan

Continuing with The Cosmopolitan, from May through to September the hotel’s Boulevard Pool turns into an outdoor cinema every Monday evening. Showcasing both classic films and the latest blockbusters, here you can escape from the strip and get lost in a cinematic experience from Dirty Dancing through to Black Panther.

Complimentary for guests of the hotel and children under five-years-old, and just $7 for non-hotel guests, it’s a great way to while away the evening without a roulette wheel or Elvis impersonator in sight. Enjoy film-themed cocktails, a menu of classic film-watching grub, and a set-up that deserves to be immortalised on your ‘gram forevermore.

Boasting a residency at Rio Las Vegas that has been going strong for more than 20 years, magic duo Penn & Teller always provide a fascinating performance. From slight of hand and illusions to the pair’s world-famous bullet catch trick, it’s easy to see why these two often top the ‘best magician in the world’ lists.

For a snap to share on your Instagram, stick around after the show. Penn & Teller always include a meet and greet with the audience, signing programmes and posing for selfies at no extra charge. So flick on the filter and start practising your best pose.

Thrill Rides, Stratosphere Hotel

Calling all adrenaline junkies, this one’s for you. Atop the spindle of The Stratosphere tower lies three terrifyingly terrific thrill rides, including a detonator-style 160-ft shoot into the sky. Holding the record for the highest rides in America, this collection of teeth-gritting, gravity defying, amusements are sure to stay with you long after you leave the desert city.

Alongside the ‘Big Shot’ mentioned above, The Stratosphere also boasts ‘Insanity’, a giant mechanical arm that holds guests 900-ft above the ground and spins 64-ft over the edge of the tower. However, for the ultimate test of nerve, try X-Scream where you’ll be catapulted off the side of the tower 109-storeys in the air. Of course, there’s a camera waiting to capture every grimace and white-knuckle ride!
