Do you want to stay in the most fashionable Orlando hotels? You’re not alone. In addition to its world-class collection of exciting theme parks and attractions, it’s the fashionable Orlando hotels that make your experience extra special.

What we mean by fashionable is the type of hotel you’ve seen splashed all over social media – the cool, chic, stylish resorts that offer unique experiences for your once-in-a-lifetime Orlando trip.

So, where are the coolest Orlando hotels and what’s so special about them? Let’s find out...

Hard Rock Hotel at Universal Orlando Resort

You’ll feel like the ultimate A-lister at Hard Rock Hotel at Universal Orlando Resort. On top of the spectacular choice of suites, the whole family will be treated like a group of total rockstars here.

Parents can pop next door with entry to Mandara Spa at Loews Portofino Bay Hotel and then be wined and dined at the Palm Restaurant: a homely venue serving big hearty favourites like steaks, pastas, and fresh seafood. And don’t worry about the little ones, they’ll be playing for hours at the resort’s onsite kids club ‘Camp Lil Rock’ or in the 12,000-square-foot swimming pool (complete with a 260-foot slide).

If you’re a music fan, the quirky interior design and cool memorabilia showcased throughout the hotel is sure to impress.

Coolest part: The pool also features an underwater sound system blasting big tunes all day and night. Super cool, right?

The Ritz-Carlton Orlando, Grande Lakes

You’ll be staying in paradise at The Ritz-Carlton Orlando, Grande Lakes. With numerous awards under its belt (including the rare AAA Four Diamond Rating), this is five-star excellence at its best. Unsurprisingly, it's also one of the most expensive hotels in Orlando!

What makes this resort so fashionable is its attention to detail and elegant decor – there are touches of luxury and comfort everywhere you look, especially in the open-plan suites and rooms. You’ll walk on lush carpet and sleep on plush king-sized beds, while huge plasma TVs and complimentary tea and coffee facilities add convenience to your stay, too.

Sometimes it’s the little things that matter most.

Coolest part: A pint at the Fairways Pub is like an upscale, much better version of a Friday night drink in town. Sip on its huge selection of draught beers and whiskeys.

Loews Portofino Bay Hotel at Universal Orlando Resort

Bringing big Italian charm to the heart of Universal Orlando is Loews Portofino Bay Hotel. The whole resort is inspired by the gorgeous seaside town of Portofino in Italy – everything from the Italian marble flooring to the giant lakeside town-square that comes alive at night with bustling guests.

Foodies will especially love this place. There are nine unique restaurants to choose from, including Mama Della’s Ristorante – a big-hearted family-style venue serving a little taste of Tuscany with grilled meats and huge bowls of pasta. Request a table by the traditional fireplace for an ultra-comfy and extra-special date night.

Coolest part: Be sure to save some holiday funds for a browse around the resort’s wonderful selection of onsite shops and boutiques – from jewellery to clothing and photography printing.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge

Disney really topped themselves with its Animal Kingdom Lodge. Nature lovers will be in awe as soon as they enter the magnificent lobby to check-in.

The gorgeous African architecture and decor flows wonderfully throughout the resort and into spacious yet comfortable rooms, adorned with ornate furnishings, wood-carved sculptures, and collections of authentic African art. Not to mention the 33-acre wildlife preserve right outside your balcony!

What makes this one of the most fashionable Orlando hotels is its huge desirability. Imagine staying in one of the dreamy Savanna-view rooms and waking up to early morning scenes of wandering giraffes and grazing antelopes? You’ll feel as though you’re on a real-life safari.

Rooms aside, the hotel’s facilities, hospitality and cuisine is equally as superb – so you can ensure a spectacular stay for all.

Coolest part: It has to be the savanna-view suites. But the resort’s Indian-inspired restaurant, Sanaa, comes in at a close second. We can't recommend the Naan Bread Service enough. It comes with nine different dips and accompaniments!

Disney’s Yacht Club Resort

It’s easy for nautical-themed hotels to come across as cheap or dated, but Disney pulls it off oh so well at its Yacht Club Resort. In fact, it’s one of the brand's most sophisticated resorts and brings a touch of elegance to your Orlando holiday.

There’s a wide selection of rooms and suites for you to choose from, the best of which offer waterfront views and 24/7 concierge service. Downstairs you’ll also have a choice of onsite restaurants, including the ever-popular Yachtsman Steakhouse. This is where you come when you fancy a perfectly cooked steak but with a fine dining twist. Make sure you order the crème brulée for dessert too - it’s phenomenal.

What makes this one of the coolest Orlando hotels is its laid-back atmosphere. A stay here means feeling super relaxed and cared for by friendly attentive staff.

Coolest part: Youngsters will love Stormalong Bay: the resort’s aquatic adventure playground. They’ll have a choice of three large pools and some super fun water slides.

Gaylord Palms Resort & Convention Centre

We couldn’t give a rundown of the most fashionable Orlando hotels without mentioning Gaylord Palms Resort & Convention Centre. You’ve never seen anything quite like the incredible glass conservatory-like lobby. It’s a touch of tropical paradise just off of International Drive.

You’ll have access to the resort’s brilliant leisure facilities, including the tranquil Relâche Spa, a 24/7 fitness centre, and a hair salon. For dinner you’ll also have a choice of nine restaurants, with the Mediterranean delights of Villa de Flora proving to be a guest favourite.

Gaylord Palms Resort is a super family-friendly resort. Children will be in their element at the resort’s very own Cypress Springs Water Park, and parents should also give the waterslides a go - don’t be afraid to be a big kid for the afternoon!

Coolest part: You’re just a short drive away from Disney’s major attractions, or you can take a complimentary shuttle service.

Disney’s Art of Animation Resort

Disney’s Art of Animation Resort is easily one of the coolest Orlando hotels, if not the coolest. With its colourful immersive Disney Pixar theming, you’ll be thrown right into the storybook scenes of your favourite movies.

Stay in delightful family suites that are equal parts charming and comfortable, built for groups of up to six people. And outside the room, you’ll spend hours wandering around spotting life-sized figures and monuments to beloved characters from classics like The Lion King, The Little Mermaid, and Cars.

When you’re hungry, grab a quick bite to eat at Landscape of Flavours: a casual quick-service dishing up tasty, made-to-order favourites, from burgers to pizzas to salads.

Coolest part: ‘Big Blue Pool’: the resort’s fittingly named Finding Nemo-inspired swimming pool that’s actually the largest out of any Disney resort.
