Bali is a destination for holidays in paradise. A trip here usually revolves around lounging on secluded idyllic beaches, exploring wonderful Hindu temples, and soaking up the excitement of its culturally-rich street food and nightlife.

And with so much going on during the day, it’s nice to have somewhere special to lay your head at night. That’s where our list of the best hotel suites Bali has to offer comes to the rescue.

Whether you’re after a tropical beachfront villa or a high-end suite equipped with every modern tech you need, these are the top choices for making the most of Bali’s selection of five-star resorts.

So, without further ado, let’s take a closer look at the best luxury hotel rooms Bali plays host to. Spoiler alert: there’s plenty to choose from, so here are our top picks.

The COMO Suite at COMO Shambhala Estate

First on our list of the best hotel suites in Bali is the 3,315ft2 COMO Suite at COMO Shambhala Estate. This is the one for you if you’re a five-star-seeking family who love to live a life of luxury for a week or two.

With two king-sized bedrooms and ample space split across numerous reception rooms (a dining room, lounge, and an outside terrace), rest assured you’ll have a whale of a time even if you spend most of it within its four walls.

Your own personal butler will bring you anything you need and there’s a Jacuzzi tub outside for evenings spent soaking up bubbles, watching the sunset, and sipping on a bottle of the finest champagne.

You get your own slice of Bali paradise in the contemporary 1,075ft2 Reserve Suite. It’s perfect for honeymooners or loved-up couples wanting to hide away from life back home and live like kings and queens of the jungle.

Stay wrapped up in bed and order gourmet room service or enjoy the food out on your private terrace which immerses you in the fascinating sights and sounds of tropical rainforests.

The Wow Suite at W Bali – Seminyak

Just the name of this one pretty much sums up why it’s made the list…The Wow Suite at W Bali - Seminyak is the type of suite that truly wows its guests and stops you in your tracks.

Firstly, it’s the suite’s interior design that impresses, with every corner of the 2,949ft2 space finished with chic decor and accents of bright floral patterns to make the suite pop with colour.

The whole place is also kitted out with modern tech and amenities, like the 55" flat-screen TV, the Bose surround-sound system, and an iPod docking station.

Best of all though is the panoramic views of the Indian Ocean, best enjoyed at sunset during the golden hours. Order yourself a cocktail to the room and take a sip knowing you’ve got absolutely no cares in the world.

The Legian Suite at The Legian Bali

Finally on our list of luxury hotel rooms in Bali is the Legian Suite at The Legian Bali. We may have saved the best to last…

It’s the largest and most elegant suite on offer at this beautiful beachfront resort, with 3,918ft2 of space and two king-sized bedrooms to make you feel comfortable and right at home.

Perhaps best of all is the suite’s locale within the resort itself – you’re just metres away from the white powder-soft sands of Seminyak Beach, meaning you can wake up and head straight out to paradise and watch the sunrise first thing in the morning.

Then once you’re wide awake, your very own round-the-clock butler can order you a gourmet breakfast best enjoyed on your ocean-view terrace. Oh, did we also mention a private car service will transport you around the local area at your own convenience?

The best luxury hotel suites in Bali FAQs

When is the best time to visit Bali for good weather?

Bali gets warm temperatures all year round (averaging between 26-29°C) – so you’ve got an entire year to play with if it’s warm weather you’re after. However, the region’s wet season falls between October and March, so if you want to minimise your chances of rain showers, it's best to come in the dry season between April and September.

Just note the drier months coincide with European summer holidays, meaning resorts do tend to get busier around that time of year.

Is Bali an expensive holiday destination?

Although Bali is one of Indonesia’s most expensive holiday destinations, it’s still a relatively budget-friendly place to visit – especially if you know where to look. Staying in five-star resorts like those on this list may be on the pricier side, but spending money for food, travel, and entertainment tends to be cheap.

If you want a super affordable trip, we recommend planning ahead and heading to Bali’s least touristy places towards the Northern areas of the island.

Bali's top luxury hotels will provide that quintessential five-star grandeur you’ve always dreamed of. Best of all, everything’s set among the island’s backdrop of magical beaches and magnificent Hindu temples. Absolute bliss!
