In Las Vegas the attitude is, quite rightly, ‘go big or go home’ and the suites at the Palms Casino Resort go big, and we mean really big.
The on-request Empathy Suite is more than 9,000 square feet of eye-popping opulence, designed by world-renowned British artist Damien Hirst.
The suite features Hirst’s bespoke furniture, six original artworks including Winner/Loser, which comprises two bull sharks suspended in a glass tank of formaldehyde set into the wall, a 13-seat curved bar filled with medical waste as well as many other beguiling and unusual installations.
