Best For: A Taste of Home

We hope you have your Oyster Card at the ready! The Ritz-Carlton, Dubai at Jumeirah Beach is truly iconic in more ways than one but the Friday brunch is where this gorgeous venue truly shines. Boasting a taste of Britain to showcase the capital’s unbeatable gastronomic brilliance, expect nothing less than tasty dishes that encompass London’s diverse and eclectic culture to the highest standard. You’ll journey through major London Underground stations as you sample the rich flavours of SoHo’s Chinatown, the vibrant spices of Edgeware Road’s Little Beirut and the sweet tastes of Pudding Lane. Oh, and don’t forget the ultimate British classics including fish and chips and Yorkshire pudding. The Ritz-Carlton, Dubai brunch runs on Fridays from 1pm to 4pm and offers three fantastic packages: Piccadilly which includes access to the Caravan Restaurant and the lawn, Jubilee which provides a selection of gin and tonics, spirits, beers and wines and Victoria which is perfect for those with a love for champagne. Reservations must be made in advance to avoid disappointment.

Best For: Incomparable Views of Dubai

Observatory by name and observatory by nature, Observatory Bar & Grill is an unforgettable venue that showcases the best views of Dubai that will have you falling in love with the city all over again. Located on the 52nd floor, guests will be enchanted by vistas across Dubai Marina and Palm Jumeirah from this 360-degree restaurant that offers floor-to-ceiling windows for crystal-clear sights. If you can tear your eyes away from the famous skyline, feast them on the delicious food spread that’s guaranteed to explode on your taste buds. Live cooking stations offer the likes of grilled meats and fresh seafood and the bar provides all the beverages you could hope for. The Sky High Brunch at Observatory Bar & Grill takes place every Friday from 12:30pm to 3:30pm and the dress code is smart casual.

Best For: A Laidback Affair

Like we said, Dubai is the city where too much is never enough meaning it’s easy to get swept up in the lavish hustle and bustle. At Winged Boots, we believe that relaxation is vital to survival so take a step back, relax and enjoy a laidback brunch with loved ones. Sounds like a bit of you? Well, you can’t go wrong with Ting Irie in Downtown Dubai. Comfort food at its finest, this restaurant offers delectable Jamaican cuisine that’s no fuss and all flavour, providing an infectious atmosphere that invites you to kick back and take it easy. Sway along to the soft sounds of reggae in the background as you tuck into food that’s full of rhythm – think warm lobster rolls with sriracha butter, flaming Appleton wings and classic Jamaican patties. Ting Irie encourages every guest to cool the spice down with a delicious cocktail or two, featuring fresh and tropical flavours that will turn that gentle sway into a full-blown dance routine. Brunch here is served on Fridays from 12pm to 5pm.

Best For: Quality Family Time

At The Address Dubai Marina, kids are treated like royalty at this spectacular family-friendly brunch. Although it takes place every Saturday from 12:30pm to 3:30pm as opposed to the traditional Friday, this is certainly an event that both adults and children alike simply can’t miss out on. Mazina at The Address Dubai Marina offers a Pirates and Mermaids Brunch where guests are invited to put on their costumes for prizes for the best-dressed pirate or mermaid. Alongside a wide variety of delicious themed dishes, the little ones will be full of excitement as they join in with activities such as a buried treasure hunt, getting temporary tattoos and jumping on the bouncy castle. And with the free-flowing bubbly, you’ll be having just as much fun as the kids! Children aged five and below dine with compliments.

Best For: Endless Champagne and Entertainment

Appropriately named the Bubbalicious Brunch, The Westin Dubai Mina Sehiya Beach Resort & Marina sets the stage for this extravagant affair that simply can’t be missed out on when you’re in the UAE capital. Let’s kick off with the food selection – but where do we begin? Just one look at the extensive options will have you thinking you’ve died and gone to culinary heaven! The Westin has combined the forces of all three of its on-site restaurants to create this decadent brunch, offering a buffet section with everything from pasta to Belgian waffles, sushi and sashimi and contemporary grill cuisine. With a name like Bubbalicious, you already know what the drinks list consists of. We recommend going all out at this brunch and opting for bottomless champagne to sip in style. Oh, and did we mention the mind-blowing entertainment that Bubbalicious offers? Think Chinese acrobats and live music for the adults and a games room and a petting zoo for the younger ones. The Westin also provides an on-demand chauffeur service that’ll pick you up and drop you off at your hotel or residence after a lavish bubbly brunch. Reservations for Bubbalicious and the chauffeur service must be made in advance.

Best For: Japanese Cuisine

There’s truly no better place in the world for delicious Japanese fare than worldwide iconic chain Nobu. Nobu Matsuhisa, the restaurant’s namesake and distinguished chef, solely focuses on delivering dishes that are refined and boast nothing short of culinary excellence. In Dubai, the High Brunch offers an á la carte menu that’s complemented by a sushi bar and a designated sake lounge for the most authentic experience. Expect to find signature plates such as Chilean sea bass with yuzu butter, matcha French toast and shrimp and truffle quinoa risotto in large and shareable portions, making this the perfect spot for groups. Got a sweet tooth? Never fear as mochi is on the menu, Japanese rice sweets that are full of flavour and happiness. Oh, and be sure to sample the famous Nobu martinis, offering the likes of a lychee cocktail, a whisky momo and a Japanese gimlet. Nobu’s High Brunch is located inside Atlantis The Palm and runs on Fridays from 12pm to 4pm.

If you can tear your eyes away from the famous skyline, feast them on the delicious food spread that’s guaranteed to explode on your taste buds.

Best For: Fresh Seafood

It’s no secret that a seafood brunch in the heart of Dubai is nothing short of pure elegance and it doesn’t get any more sophisticated than Pierchic. Located inside Jumeirah Al Qasr At Madinat Jumeirah, this is an eatery that’s definitely acquired its fair share of accolades including Best Romantic Restaurant by BBC Good Food and Best Seafood Restaurant by Time Out Dubai. Panoramic views are yours for the taking at Pierchic, situated directly on the waterfront of the Arabian Gulf and giving guests an opportunity to dine al fresco on the terrace – talk about best seats in the house! Brunch here is truly remarkable, delivering delights of the sea to the highest standard possible. Our top choice has to be Le Grand Plateau, a perfect sharing starter that consists of Canadian lobster, Atlantic crab salad, Dutch mussels, Portuguese razor clams and Omani crevettes. All washed down with a few glasses of chilled Veuve Clicquot Rosé Champagne, of course. Brunch is served at Pierchic on Fridays from 12:30pm to 4pm. Guests should note that terrace seating requests operate on a first-come first-served basis.
