You will wander through exhibits that highlight how wildlife endures the natural environment, before heading on a rainforest river walk where you can see sloths, monkeys, toucans and parrots. For those who love marine life, Tortuguero National Park must be on your itinerary. The beautiful white sand beaches are the ideal place to get up close and personal with the large variety of turtles. Go between November and March and you may even see the babies hatching.However, wildlife fans final stop should be Monteverde’s Cloud Forest. The park boasts treetop trails that lead through the clouds. But, you won’t be walking alone. More than 100 mammal species, 400 types of bird and 1,200 amphibians and reptiles will keep you company.
