Where is the St. Regis Red Sea Resort?

The resort is just one of numerous hotels and residences which will, by 2030, make up the mammoth Red Sea project. Upon completion, the entire complex will comprise 50 resorts, offering up to 8,000 hotel rooms and more than 1,000 residential properties across 22 islands and six inland sites. Now, that's what we call a 'project'.

It is situated on a private island within the Ummahat archipelago in Saudi Arabia's Al Wajh Lagoon amid the pristine waters of the Red Sea. You can access the island via a 25-minute seaplane transfer or a combination of a 30-minute car journey followed by a one-hour speedboat ride.

At the top end, the Presidential Dune Villa boasts an expansive 349 square metres of interior space, seamlessly integrating with a vast 270 square metre outdoor sundeck and private pool. Features also include a statement living and dining space, kitchen, butler’s pantry, study, media room, powder room, staff quarters, and four en-suite bedrooms, including a master suite with a walk-in closet and refreshing outdoor shower.

Designed by architect Kengo Kuma, the resort's architecture reflects organic shapes, having been thoughtfully designed to capture the essence of Ummahat Island’s unique terrain through undulating curves that echo gentle waves and sand-swept dunes. Organic materials such as untreated wood, handmade ceramics, and natural fabrics create an atmosphere of effortless elegance in keeping with the setting. Each villa also offers cutting-edge technology to provide a tailored experience, enhanced by the renowned St. Regis Butler service and signature rituals.
