Exceptional accommodation

All rooms and suites have been thoughtfully designed to match the needs of each guest, whether you are having a romantic trip or a fun family holiday, there is the perfect accommodation available. The furniture and coconut fibre carpets are made by local craftsmen and the materials used throughout the resort in all construction are reminiscent of the cultural heritage of Mauritius.

Each room also is stocked with a set of Dodo flip flops, locally made and traditionally worn by all Mauritians, they are ideal to potter around the resort in or to wear when you venture into a local town.

Exceptional accommodation

Superior Room

All rooms in this category, offer either a partial sea view or full sea view and there is also the option of a beachfront aspect, which will not disappoint. Suitable for two adults and one child under 12, here you can expect a relaxed and comfortable holiday. Waking up in a Superior Room will have you feeling like a real islander, as you enjoy a coffee or chilled drink from the mini bar on your private balcony or terrace.

Family Deluxe Room

Perfect for two adults and two children, these rooms come with a separate kids’ room and bathroom, so everyone has their own space to call home for the duration of your stay. Larger families or those traveling in a group can request inter-connecting rooms for additional space.

Couple Privilege Suite

The Couple Privilege Suite is perfect for couples who are searching for a more intimate escape. It features a private balcony with a Jacuzzi and stunning views out to sea but is also secluded away from the main areas of the resort. Guests in these suites can expect to be undisturbed and have the chance to make memories that will last a lifetime.

Zilwa Attitude offers guests seven delicious dining destinations, with a blend of tastes from all over the world. On the island they refer to the blend of flavours as ‘Metisaz’, an exquisite mix of Creole, Indian, Asian and European cuisines that run true to the cultural diversity and history of the island. Sticking with the theme, all the restaurants and bars are given Creole names, for example the main hotel bar is called ‘Siro Kann’, a Creole word meaning sugar cane. Here the barmen create rum based cocktails that are guaranteed to ignite your tastebuds.

Plus, within the resort children can take meals in the main restaurant under the supervision of one of the Mini Club Family Members, allowing parents the opportunity to indulge in a romantic meal alone.

A world of experiences

Siaw

A traditional take on Chinese and Creole cuisine, otherwise known as Sino-Mauritian. This type of food is very popular on the island and it typically includes a lot of stir-fried noodles. Here the restaurant adopts a live cooking concept where guests can watch the chefs at work, which really brings the venue alive.

Lor Disab

Lor Disab is Creole for ‘right on the sand’, and as you can imagine it is inspired by the venue’s location on the beach. This venue has a much more laidback atmosphere, with a design that is reminiscent of a traditional holiday cottage in times gone by. The menu here is vast, and you can expect anything from a sandwich at lunch to more typical Mauritian dishes served in the evening.

Delicious dining

There is a plethora of activities available in the resort, as well as many opportunities to venture out further afield. Much of the experiences are inspired by local traditions as well as offering all the amenities expected from a luxury island resort. Start a relaxing morning on the island with some Yoga or Tai Chi, get energetic with a trip to the gym in the afternoon or a friendly game of beach volleyball or tennis, then as the sun sets enjoy challenging your travel buddy to a typical Mauritian board game. If you are a water baby at heart, cool off with everything from kayaking to catamaran sailing or taking a dip in one of four swimming pools across the resort.

Jump into island life

unique experiences on offer that are inspired by local traditions. One example is the Pirogue Trip, a chance to go out to sea with the fishermen at dawn and as the sun rises enjoy a freshly caught breakfast on a secluded beach. Or you can sample the delights of the nearby markets and shop as the locals do. On Wednesdays and Saturdays a beautiful fabric market is in town and on Tuesdays and Fridays enjoy the vibrant fruits and vegetables that are for sale.

Work on your Spa Attitude

The resort takes relaxation very seriously, so if you are struggling to settle into the laid-back nature of island life, we suggest a trip to Zilwa Attitude. With a range of rituals on offer, all based on the natural elements of the island combined with essential oils, guests are fully immersed in the island essence while in one of eight treatment rooms.

Situated in the very north of Mauritius, it will take approximately an hour to travel to the resort from the airport. Located in a beautiful area known as Kalodyne, Zilwa Attitude is very close to a quaint fisherman’s village called Grand Gaube, that is just waiting to be explored.

If you want to see more of the island during your holiday, the resort is just 12km from Grand Baie, a renowned bay with a spectacular beach.
