        Cocoon Suite

        Taking glamping to the next level, these suites feature four-poster king-size beds with spacious bathrooms centred around free-standing copper bathtubs. From your private viewing deck observe a watering hole where you’ll be able to witness a diverse array of fauna.

        Enjoy safari views from the comfort of your viewing deck, soak up the sun and cool off in the pool or simply sink into your mattress after a day of game drives and bush walks. Handmade bath amenities await you along with stylish contemporary features throughout the room.

        The main cocoon structure houses a master bedroom and bathroom, while the separate ‘Urchin’ is designed for children with two single beds. Here they can enjoy their own space just a stone's throw from the main Cocoon. This suite also boasts its own private plunge pool.

        Dining at Wild Coast Tented Lodge is all about modern Sri Lankan cuisine. The restaurant, Ten Tuskers Bar, and Library are all housed in two dome-shaped pavilions overlooking the beach, crafted from a woven bamboo structure, clad in reclaimed teak shingles.

        Sample traditional Sri Lankan dishes with a Wild Coast twist. All meals have been inspired by nature and fresh local produce. The restaurant's interior itself is dome-shaped and its style is created with sculptural elements, natural wood tables and copper highlights.

        Situated alongside the pool and facing out towards the Ocean is Ten Tuskers Bar. It’s crowned by a large bamboo chandelier and the decor features leather and copper accents and teak seating. Here mixologists create handcrafted cocktails featuring hyper-local ingredients.

        Leopards, bears, and elephants are certainly the highlight of Yala National Park. Take a tour with the rangers at Wild Coast who are experienced and knowledgeable, have an eye for detail and are well-versed to showcase the entire spectrum of biodiversity found in the park.

        Situated about five hours from Colombo by road or 45-minutes by air the Wild Coast Tented Lodge is near Yala National Park on the southeastern tip of the country, bordered by sea. The park’s vegetation features a mix of grasslands, forests, scrubs, lagoons, and almost everything in between. It’s home to 44 mammal species and 215 birds, all of which are protected. The National Park is also believed to have the highest concentration of leopards in the world.
