This award-winning Mediterranean restaurant offers a small menu that packs a delicious punch. Although limited in choice, each is so tantalising that deciding what to order is no mean feat. The venue boasts an air of romance in a grand ballroom-esque setting, so be sure to dress to impress.

Rejuvenate at the spa

Escape from the world in the Ritz-Carlton Spa where specially crafted treatments drawing from ancient rituals are top of the menu. Comprising a brochure of water rituals, massages, body treatments and facials, what will you have first?

We recommend starting in the aromatherapy showers and steam rooms before taking a dip in the whirlpools and plunge pools then curling up with a good book in the relaxation gardens. We’re feeling more relaxed just thinking about it.

Entertain little ones

Families are at The Ritz-Carlton Cancun’s core and this is made apparent through its vast menu of children’s activities. Promising to be both fun and educational, little minds will be stimulated with a schedule of daily experiences from treasure hunts and traditional Mexican games to evening entertainment of safaris, bubble parties and arts and crafts (Friday and Saturday evenings only). Please note you must register your little darling by 7pm the evening prior in order to participate in any of the kids’ programmes.

Be part of something magical

From May until November annually, female turtles nest their eggs on Mexican beaches. Buried deep in the warm sands, she then returns to the ocean. In order to protect these endangered species, the team at Ritz-Carlton move the eggs to Turtle Camp, a safe nesting area away from predators. Once hatched, the baby turtles are released back into the ocean at dawn on the day they were born with the help of the Turtle Guarding Volunteers. Be part of this humbling experience by enquiring at the hotel during your stay.

Located in the region’s hotel zone, you’re moments away from Cancun’s shopping facilities and a rich and vibrant night life. With a multitude of bars, restaurants and nightclubs, if you only visit one

make sure it’s Coco Bongo. An all-inclusive nightclub is fused with performances which could rival any Las Vegas show to create an evening you’ll never forget.

Alternatively, for a slower pace Riviera Cancun Golf Club is a 15-minute drive away.
