There’s a total of 160 lagoon terraces in all, 26 lagoon suites and 20 further club suites and top end villas. Some have been recently upgraded, and many complete with a private balcony from which to enjoy superb views.

Recently upgraded but maintaining the property’s timeless elegance, this room grants you a huge space with a private garden entrance, balcony and beautiful inviting furnishings which provide a nod to Portuguese culture. 

Lagoon Deluxe Suite

Stare out at blossoming lotuses from your private balcony, or relax in your home-from-home living area. The craftsmanship that has gone into this space is evident in its spaciousness and luxuriousness with attention to detail in every nook and cranny.  

Presidential Villa

At the edge of the lagoon you’ll find this superb luxurious villa-style property. It features its own living room, dining room, kitchenette, plus adjoining bedrooms and a private terrace with a beautiful pool and Jacuzzi all for you. There’s also 24-hour butler service throughout your stay.

Each restaurant has great views and its own particular personality in keeping with the food type. Riverside is famed for its wonderful Italian food, and eating al fresco on a moonlight evening is a delight that you really cannot afford to miss out on.

This romantic eatery overlooks the river and serves authentic Italian cuisine with the very finest and freshest of ingredients. There’s a wide range of impressive wines on offer at this restaurant too, allowing you to perfectly match your meal with the tipple of choice. 

The Restaurant

Perhaps not the most imaginative name – but, no matter. It’s the venue where most will start their day, enjoying delights from a breakfast buffet. It’s an all day and evening eatery, which pulls influences around the globe to ensure it satisfies all tastes. Dining outside right by the pool is a plus.

Who’s for golf?

With four water hazards and 30 sand bunkers, the golf course here at Leela is really going to put you through your paces… but perhaps that’s a good option if you’re wanting to polish up your act out of view of folks back home.
 
It’s a truly pristine 12-hole course in an exceptional setting, sprawling across some nine lovingly manicured acres in all. Equipment wise, you’ll find that golf clubs, tees and score cards are all available from over the counter, exclusively to guests. You should also note that it is a Par 3 course. 

Sightseeing by water or bike

There’s certainly plenty to see in and around the resort itself, so the concierge team at this exceptional property will be only to happy to arrange trips to exercise your body or your grey matter – or both.
 
Cycling expeditions are possible, as are dolphin viewing boat trips. Our recommendation is to book these early, as they can prove extremely popular, and we know only too well that you wouldn’t want to miss out on what could be a breathtaking Goa experience. 

Goa, the Rome of the East, is one of India’s smallest states but still packs plenty of punch with the endless list of sites and experiences it offers. With a Portuguese heritage that reaches back nearly 450-years, you’ll not only find plenty of European customs but also a fabulously continental wine list. After an evening indulging in this flavourful cuisine, you’ll find plenty of popular nightlife spots to live it up form dust ‘til to dawn. And the best bit? This hotel is at the centre of it all, so you never have to go far for a good time.
