        The Dorchester first opened in April 1931 and it has retained much of its original Art Deco interiors from that time. It was the world’s first hotel to be constructed from reinforced concrete and it was complete within a record 18 months.
        The Dorchester is part of the Dorchester Collection which has many notable international properties in its portfolio, including Coworth Park, The Lana in Dubai and Beverley Hills Hotel in Los Angeles.
