        Octola is a blend of traditional Finnish philosophy and modern luxury living. The estate holds two lodges with up to 10 bedrooms in total, including one two-bedroom villa. All lodge rooms and suites are interconnecting and feature floor-to-ceiling windows.

        Super Suite Villa

        Situated with a great outlook onto a Northern Lights hotspot, the Super Suite Villa is a great option for a more intimate escape. Featuring a Jacuzzi, dining area and sauna, the villa is a fully self-contained winter oasis within the landscape. 

        Exclusive Glass Igloo Suite

        The perfect wilderness hideaway for two, the Exclusive Glass Igloo Suite is a fully-contained igloo with a glass roof to gaze up at the sky. It features a living area, a bathroom with a walk-in shower and an outdoor hot tub.

        The Lodge

        With 10 individual en-suite bedrooms, there is more than enough room for the group in The Lodge. If 10 is too many, an alternative package will allow for four or six bedrooms while still maintaining full use of the estate.
         

        Delicious dining

        Octola has a dining space rather than a restaurant, in keeping with the homely atmosphere. Your private chef will consult with you ahead of your arrival to create a tailored menu based on your preferences. The cuisine is a Scandinavian-French fusion.

        Octola Private Dining

        Your dining table can be set up almost anywhere within your accommodation, giving you a homely experience. Smaller suites and villas have their own dining area. You will be looked after by a private chef who will tailor the menu to you.

        Karhu

        If you fancy a drink in a spectacular setting, head to Karhu, the onsite bar. Inside, you'll find hand-carved wood features, natural stone, and cosy sofas around a crackling fire. Burgers and tasty BBQ treats are also on offer here.

        Ocola is a destination for all seasons, and with 400 hectares of wilderness, there is plenty to do. Your wilderness guide will tailor your itinerary to feature the likes of husky sledding in the winter and salmon fishing in the summer.

        See the Northern Lights

        Octola is one of the best places to see the spectacular Northern Lights in the world. There's not a single drop of light pollution here, and they dazzle the sky more than 200 times in the year. It's pure magic.
         

        Visit Santa Claus

        Rovaniemi, Santa's mythical home, is just 20 minutes away by car. Take the kids to see the big man himself or visit his official post office to send a postcard. You can also enrol them in Elf School for the day.
         

        Octola is located deep in the Arctic Circle, surrounded by 400 hectares of unspoilt wilderness. It's just a 20-minute drive from Rovaniemi International Airport, and it also features a private helipad for a more convenient approach to your travel arrangements. If you are picturing a white wonderland, consider visiting from late September to April to delve into the snowy conditions. Due to its location, high in the northern hemisphere, the area also offers a fantastic opportunity to witness the Northern Lights.
