        Located at an altitude of 400 metres in the Mauritian hills, Lakaz Chamarel not only offers stunning views but also the perfect location for just about everything. Only an hour’s drive from the airport and a quick 10-to-15-minute coach trip from Mauritius’ best beaches, you’ll find that being in alpine seclusion isn’t as isolated as it sounds. The Chamarel Waterfall and Seven Coloured Earth are 10 minutes away by car while the UNESCO-listed Le Morne Brabant is 20 minutes away.
