        Recommended by the Michelin Guide, Tekka by Lone is a fusion of Istrian and Japanese gastronomy. The fine dining restaurant uses traditional Japanese cooking techniques using local ingredients with favourites including tuna and asparagus pattani and chicory sake buri.

        The hotel sits on a hill just outside Rovinj, overlooking Lone Bay and the lush green Golden Cape Forest Park on the Istrian Peninsula. You can reach the historic city centre in 25 minutes on foot, so all its must-see sights, including St Euphemia’s Basilica and Balbi’s Arch, are right on your doorstep. Mulini Beach is about 500 metres away (or 10 minutes on foot), while further afield Punta Križ and Veštar beaches are both within a 20-minute drive.

        Mulini Beach is the closest beach on the beautiful Lone Bay. It’s just a 10-minute stroll from the hotel through lush gardens. While it isn’t private, there’s a designated area with sunloungers for hotel guests. The picturesque Lone Bay Beach is 15 minutes on foot and has an excellent view of Rovinj and Santa Caterina Island.
