        Thor

        Marvellous lake views are the perfect accompaniment to this amazing room. Furnished in a traditionally Icelandic style, expect Aesop amenities in the bathroom, soft linens on the bed and blackout blinds to ensure a comfortable night’s sleep.

        Dressed in an authentic style that radiates a cosy ambience, Gunnar is one of the two spa rooms at Deplar Farm. Located on the lower floor with an eastern outlook on to mountains, guests will enjoy views from their private terrace.

        Grettir

        The largest room at Deplar Farm is named after Iceland’s best-known outlaw, this choice comprises a king-size bed, a living area and a mezzanine loft. The bathroom is spacious with a double vanity, private sauna, steam shower and a separate tub.

        Delicious dining

        Locally sourced ingredients are used in every dish here, with arctic char, cod, lamb, chicken and beef all readily available. Meals are eaten in the dining room along with other guests, however private dining is also available on request.

        An array of exciting activities are on offer. After a day of unforgettable experiences be sure to relish the spa facilities that guarantee the ultimate unwind. Plus, you can also take advantage of the on-site gym and yoga studio, with classes occurring daily.

        Wonderful wellness

        At the spa, relax in the sauna, enjoy some time in the hot tub or book a therapeutic treatment. There’s also two isopod flotation tanks where you can really take a weight off your mind. Alternatively unwind in the geothermal swimming pool that’s set at 37-degrees.

        Feel the burn

        With an onsite gym as well as a yoga studio, you can get your energy up before a day of exciting exploration. Fitness classes take place in the morning, with three optional start times across a one-hour period which allows you to join when it suits.
         

        Outdoor excursions

        Choose from a list of incredible activities which combine physical exercise with intense sensory outdoor experiences. You’re able to embark on two guide-led activities daily, so plan your itinerary wisely. In the winter, heli-skiing is available at an additional charge.

        Arrive in style courtesy of the two helipads and prepare yourself for a holiday of adventure and wellness. Located in the Troll Peninsula between the fjords of Skagafjörður and Eyjafjorður, you have nothing but white blankets of snow surrounding you in the winter and thriving flora and fauna in the warmer months. Various excursions are included in your getaway, and with any luck the Northern Lights may also make an appearance throughout your stay.

        Many popular guided excursions are included in the cost of your stay including hiking, snowshoeing, fat biking, ice fishing, snow sledding, cross-country skiing, snowmobiling, horseback riding, whale watching, sea kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding, as well as Haganesvik gymnasium activities, and lodge activities. Plus, all necessary equipment and gear you will need for these activities will also be included inclusively throughout your holiday. There are also a few additional activities available, such as a private whale watching tour and heli-skiing excursion which can be organised by the resort at an additional charge.
        All your meals are included throughout your stay. Each day guests can enjoy a chef-prepared breakfast, lunch, après and dinner alongside a selection of house beers, wines, liquors and non-alcoholic beverages with no additional cost. Each room also features a small mini bar with a selection of inclusive snacks and beverages.
        The hotel is home to a world-class recording studio, intimate performance stages, and vinyl collection listening spaces. And yes, you yourself can get involved in a jam session or act as executive producer to collaborate under the Northern Lights in Flóki Studios.
