        Comprising a sitting area and a furnished sea-facing veranda, plus an open-air bathroom, your stay will be peppered with the delicious sea air and soothing sounds of the ocean lapping the shore.

        Situated directly on the beachfront, we love the sea-facing veranda. The cottage also boasts a private courtyard and garden with a massage pavilion calling out to all guests for some relaxation time.

        The top accommodation, this villa is beautifully decorated in woods and pale hues. It’s simple, but utterly stylish at the same time. You’ll have an extensive outdoor living space, private courtyard, dining pavilion and plunge pool.

        Flippers at the ready

        The isle has a PADI certified dive centre. This is a great opportunity for you to make the most of the beautiful waters around Denis, which have been granted official protected status by the government of the Seychelles.
         

        Get close to nature

        Enjoy an expert accompanied trip to see the tracks of the sea turtles or look for magpie robins in the forest. The hotel also offers bicycles if you wish to do a bit more of an independent version of a nature investigation for yourself.

        Go Fish

        Just 15-minutes from the island is ‘the drop off’, an underwater plateau that plumges around 2,000m into the Indian Ocean. It’s a great spot for sport fishing with sailfish, marlin, tuna and dorado in abundance.
         

        The key point about its location is that you’ll feel a million miles from anywhere. Denis Island is toward the most northerly point of the Seychelles (it’s actually the second most northerly island), and it’s some 52 miles from Mahé. The very remote nature means it truly is a holiday setting for doing little other than relaxing and recharging. Transfer to the resort is by air, organised in advance.
