        Constance Belle Mare sits on the eastern coast of the island, in an area regarded as being among the more glamorous parts of Mauritius. It's a great location for trips to the nearby Central Flacq Market for souvenir shopping, should you ever want to tear yourself away from the pristine two-kilometre white sand beach and nearly 15 hectares of tropical gardens. The beach is protected by an offshore coral reef so it's an ideal spot for swimming and water sports.
