Waking up in a room carved of ice complete with views of the Northern Lights has made ICEHOTEL one of the most unique and iconic hotels in the world. ACCOMMODATION

You’ve never seen accommodation quite like the rooms and suites of ICEHOTEL. Choose to stay in one of the Cold Rooms and surround yourself with the ice sculptures and walls, and even fall asleep on a bed made entirely on ice. With temperatures dipping to as low as -8˚, reindeer hide throws and thermal sleeping bags come as standard. It’s also recommended you spend one night in the Cold Rooms and the rest of your holiday in the Warm Rooms. Here, a traditional Nordic-style becomes apparent, and there’s even chalets that are perfect for families and larger groups.

Cold Room – Ice Room

    Open seasonally from December to April, this choice is entirely made from ice. Temperatures inside range from -5 to -8 degrees Celsius with reindeer hides and a thermal sleeping bag inside to keep you warm. In Dressing Room, the warm building adjacent to the hotel, communal changing rooms, toilets and saunas can be found. Luggage is also stored here prior to your overnight stay.

      Warm Room – Kaamos Sup...

      With two beds, a desk, a seating area and a small coffee table, the Kaamos Superior Room is ideal for friends or solo travellers who are after a magical stay. Here, you can get cosy and hibernate from the cold thanks to heated stone floors.       If you’re feeling peckish and want to escape the sub-zero temperatures ICEHOTEL Restaurant and Veranda is perfect. Local ingredients are used throughout so you can expect to be feasting on reindeer, moose, arctic char and bramble berries every night of your stay. As well as an a la carte menu you can also choose to pre-book a dining experience which includes your meals being served on ice or in the wilderness that surrounds the hotel. For the ultimate dining experience be sure to book a seat at the chef’s table. Here, you’re seated on a large table before two chefs cook you a 12-course meal right before your eyes.
