Pebble Beach in a nutshell

Don’t Forget Your Kit

•    Pebble Beach is a golfer’s paradise with a wealth of courses to suit all travellers wanting to roam the fairways accompanied by the Californian sun.
•    Pebble Beach Golf Links is the most popular, named as the best public golf course in America by Golf Digest. Home to five US Opens, with this increasing to six in 2019, the course has been challenging even seasoned pros with its small greens, large bunkers and high wind levels. Oh, and let’s not forget the choice of three hotels complete with award-winning fare at the on-site restaurants.
•    Spyglass Hill Golf Course is another, with it being known as one of the toughest courses in the country. Magical ocean views and vistas of the Del Monte Forest add an extra wow factor to proceedings, along with holes that will challenge every player.
•    Being one of the oldest golf courses in operation, Del Monte Golf Course has been giving golf enthusiasts a run for their money for more than a century. While initially a nine-hole course which was then extended to 18 in 2002, classic charm can be found with old school bunkers and the need for precise shots to score a ride on the birdie bus.
Tastes To Try

•    Fresh Mediterranean cuisine and a casual atmosphere makes Dametra Café the perfect post-game restaurant. Top dishes include smoked salmon, an all-American cheese burger and artichoke ravioli. Accompanied by a varied wine list, this venue has plenty of returning customers and you’re sure to be one of them.
•    Stillwater Bar & Grill serves a range of international cuisine that overlooks the Pebble Beach Golf Links 18th green. Buffet in style, the choice boasts a range of stations serving a range of seafood, Asian delights and assorted salads, cheeses and desserts. Oh, and the complimentary glass of champagne certainly goes down a treat.
Soak Up The Culture

•    The 17-Mile Drive has to be one of the most iconic adventures you’ll be having during your time in California. Taking you through Carmel and Pebble Beach, you’ll venture through the magical fairways of Pebble Beach Golf Links as well as the giant trees at Crocker Grove, the stunning sands of Fanshell Beach and the boardwalk at Spanish Bay. Cars can be rented in advance with chauffeurs an additional luxury touch. Complimentary access to the drive is given to those staying at The Lodge at Pebble Beach.
•    Various hikes mean that you can well and truly explore the natural surroundings that has made Pebble Beach a top destination for holiday makers. Monterey Bay is perfect for brisk strolls, with Point Lobos being the most dramatic stop-off point along your travels due to the crashing waves into the craggy rocks.
