While seven of the suites boast self-catering kitchenettes, you simply must indulge with a meal at Rakas Restaurant, the on-site eatery. With a focus on fresh ingredients, you can devour such dishes as reindeer Wallenger with smoked reindeer butter or alternatively opt for lemon-butter-roasted pike perch from the Arctic Circle, popping potatoes from Saarenkylä, onion purée and vermouth sauce. Make sure to save room for dessert as parfaits, chocolate marquise and other such sweet treats are all on the menu. Various events occur throughout the week, with Sunday Brunch an absolute must. Private dining is available upon request and there’s even the chance to devour restaurant fare at a campfire shelter.
