The Planters Lunch is an old tradition reimagined into a plush picnic. In the early days of the tea industry before cars, tea planters would conduct field inspections either on foot or horseback, then at midday they would take a break under the shade of a tree or makeshift hut for a rest and a bite to eat. At Ceylon Tea Trails you can enjoy a feast served in tiffin boxes with views over the tea plantations and the jungle. It’s a scenic picnic like no other.
