Beach Bungalow

Cosy but definitely not modest, the beach bungalows boast of a private patio facing the beach, a double vanity, an indoor bath and an outdoor shower. Available with either a king bed or a twin, and an extra bed or cot for children, it is a diverse choice for couples, friends, or families. 

Beach Villa

Hidden amongst the trees for your privacy, the beach villas are expansive and opulent, equipped with everything you could imagine and more. A large pool built into the decking with shaded sofas, en-suites with balcony-esque outdoor showers, and charming patterns and textures in the décor will all characterise your stay.

The chefs at Alphonse Island aim to provide an experience in Seychellois Creole cuisine for international tastebuds. Fish and ingredients from the island and kitchen gardens ensure a fresh taste to all dishes and keep the food closer to the authentic local culture. The extensive wine list will please some, while their dedication to catering for all dietary requirements and the little ones mean no member of your party misses out.

Explore the ocean

To stay just by the Indian Ocean and not explore its wonders just doesn’t make sense, so there are a multitude of water-based adventures to be had. Swims with dolphins and manta rays will have you up close to the stunning wildlife, as will scuba diving and snorkelling around coral gardens. Those less confident in the water can enjoy an expedition on the reef flats and safari from a boat to spot whales and mating turtles, season depending. Those wishing to get active can try stand-up paddle boarding and kayaking. 

Explore the Island

Back on land, there is still much nature to discover. A turtle tracking experience gives you the chance to see this amazing endangered species, finding hatched nests and measuring tracks. Bird watchers non bird watchers alike will delight in seeing the meeting of thousands of Red-Footed Boobies and Frigatebirds at sunset, with the option to learn about other birds from a knowledgeable guide. To see it all at once, guided nature walks around the island allow you to learn about multiple species of indigenous flora and fauna. 

Settle down

The spa therapies on offer are tailored to relax your body after a busy day of discovery with special treatments such as a Fishermen’s Massage. For those not able to tear themselves away from the stunning sea, a cruise under the sunset to sip on a drink and see dolphins and turtles at golden hour is simply idyllic. 
 

Right under the equator in the Indian Ocean, Alphonse Island is part of the Seychelles archipelago east of Africa. The sandy beaches, tropical weather and pristine water make it the perfect location for fishing, diving and water sports, or just relaxing in what many would describe as the traditional image of paradise.
